We're home!!!

we're home. all THREE of us. we're home and my baby is healthy and happy and i am a mommy. we just finished our 1am feeding and i'm pumping my breasts as i type (still working on the latching on/eating from the breast thing - wish us luck!). caleb is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen in my life. he is so perfect. so perfect and cuddly and wonderful. all of my prayers have been answered.

sorry this post is so short but i am still in pain from the crash c-section and i'm feeling very sleep deprived. i'll try to write more later.

he's here. home. he's mine. we are a family. life is perfect.

he is just beautiful but I have to tell you I see daddy all over that little face :)
So are you guys coming to New York so Swim and Baby Bennett can meet? Ok Ok you're still recovering so we'll come there- WHOOOH HOOO!!!!
I'm so gld the ride is over for you- now you embark on a completekly new path and it is just amazing. Exhausting but amazing in the best way ever! Good luck with the breast feeding- I know that isnt easy at all.
Wishing you a good recovery! I know you have to be in a lot of pain and I'm hoping you can enjoy the baby while getting the rest that you need. Your body and mind have been through a ton so lay back, relax, and enjoy your perfect lil pancake! :)

Wow, he is so cute. I am so happy for you guys. We are looking forward to getting to meet Caleb. Both Jeff and I have been praying that he would be perfect and your family complete and here he is just the way God planned it. Congratulations again and we are so happy for you.
One thing I learned with Connor is no matter what time of day it is for the first few weeks sleep when he does everything will get done in its own time but take the time to rest and enjoy your little guy they will grow up so fast.

Tears! :) I am so very happy for you guys! He is amazing! I'm thrilled that he was able to come home with you and not have to stay longer! All of you are still in my prayers for a blessed transition into family-hood! Congratulations!

PS...a word of advice...the dishes in the sink and all the housework will ALWAYS be there, but make sure you take time to rest, eat well and nap when you can! You (and your milk supply!) need the rest to heal and recover! :)
