4 month doctor's appt

caleb had his 4 month well baby check up today. he weighed in at 15 lbs., 8 oz and his length is 25 1/2 inches. he is between the 50th-75th percentile for weight and is in the 75th percentile for height. his head circumference is also in the 75th percentile. the pediatrician was very pleased with how well he is doing. i told her how much he hates his tummy time but she said he is doing great and that he has good neck control. so we just have to hope that he starts to enjoy being on his tummy soon. the picture above was taken last week when he was tolerating being on his stomach. most of the time he is very mad and is crying within 2 minutes of being on his tummy. he has rolled over a couple times but not without some assistance (on an incline, etc.). i'm not rushing it though. it'll happen when he's ready.
he also had his immunizations today. he did so good. he cried for a minute, then nursed for a little while and then was smiling at us as we were in the elevator a few minutes later. john and i are so blessed to have such a wonderful baby. each time i look at him i am more in love than the moment before.

He is getting so big!!! I can't believe that Caleb is already 4 months. Connor didn't like to be on his tummy either, but he did get used to it.

Caleb is adorable and needs to be squished! He is so precious and I'm so happy he had such a good 4 month check up! I know the shots aren't the best part of the day for the poor lil man :( And yes the tummy time will get easier and he will do everything he's supposed to do when he is ready. Remember HE calls the shots here Kim...not you! lol! He'll be rolling and flipping before you know it!
