1st doctor's visit

my doc wants to see me before i leave for vacation so i have an appt for this afternoon at 2:30pm. normally the infertility clinic has you come in at 7 1/2 weeks to see if they can find a heartbeat. if they do, then you move on to a regular OB. if not, they bring you in until they can find one, or until they find out why they can't find one (miscarriage, etopic preg, etc.). since i'm only at 6 1/2 weeks, they probably won't be able to see a heartbeat. the nurse has already warned me not to panic since it's so early. there is a small chance that they will be able to see one. I really, really, really hope so.
